The EFI logo may be reused in its original form by EFI Members when related to EFI manuscripts, projects, or Chapter activities. Copyright of the logo is retained by the Ecological Forecasting Initiative. No derivatives or adaptations of the logo are permitted without permission of the EFI Steering Committee. The EFI logo may not be used for commercial purposes.  We encourage, but do not require, the link to the EFI website (ecoforecast.org) to be associated with the logo (e.g., on the same presentation slide). 

Examples of how the logo can be used include: 

• In oral or poster presentations developed through an EFI activity 
• As part of advertising created for an EFI chapter or working group
• For free swag provided at an EFI activity
