EFI membership is not limited to individuals. Organizations interested in participating in or partnering with the EFI are encouraged to join. Partner organizations could include but are not limited to, governmental agencies, NGOs, data networks, citizen science initiatives, and industry partners involved in either the production or use of ecological forecasts (natural resources, tech, sensors, etc.). The USA-NPN collects, stores, and shares phenology data. The modeled historical, real-time, and forecasted phenology map products created and distributed by the USA-NPN include: contemporary and short-term forecast maps of Accumulated Growing Degree Days (AGDD), historical, contemporary, and short-term forecast maps of the Spring Indices, and Pheno Forecasts, which provide 6-day forecasts of invasive pest activity to inform management.
TERN observes, records and measures critical terrestrial ecosystem parameters and conditions for Australia over time from continental scale to field sites at hundreds of representative locations. TERN is a National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) supporter and is hosted by the University of Queensland.
